At Monbulk Aquatic Centre we offer a range of activities and cater to a variety of community and school groups within our aquatic space. We aim to have at least two lap lanes available to the public during all pool opening hours Monday to Sunday (subject to event bookings).

If you are wondering when the quiet times for lap swimming in the 25m pool are, here it is in a nutshell:

Weekdays:

• Between 6am – 7:30am there are usually 5-6 lanes available and the Centre is generally quiet.
• Between 7:30am – 10:30am there are 2-3 lanes for lap swimming but there will also be lessons and aquafit lessons running at the same time, so additional noise may be present.
• During School Terms, between 11am – 2:30pm there are generally 1-2 lanes for lap swimming, but the Centre can be noisy and busy with school children. Also, please note the change rooms may close at certain times during school swimming times, but we will have signage up when this takes place to help notify you.
• Between 2:30pm – 3:45pm there are 5-6 lanes available for lap swimming and the Centre is generally quiet.
• Between 6pm – 6:30pm THERE ARE NO LANES FOR LAP SWIMMING
• Between 6:30pm – 8:30pm there are 1-2 lanes available for lap swimming but there is also Marlins Squad training on during this time.

Weekends:

• Saturday 8:00am – 1pm the Program (toddler) Pool will be used for lessons. The beach area with water features is available for recreational swimming however the water feature may not be running during lesson times.
• Saturday after 1pm there are at least 3 lanes available, the other 3 lanes may be booked for Birthday Parties.
• Sunday 9:15m – 12:30pm there will be Swimming Lessons in both the Program (toddler) Pool and 25m pool. After this there are at least 3 lanes available, depending if a Birthday Party has been booked. If there are no Parties, there will be 6 lanes available for swimming.
• Birthday Parties – these are open to book from 1pm 3pm or 3:30pm – 5:30pm on weekends. Bookings can vary, so please call the Centre to enquire if you are wishing to come in to swim during these times.

We will aim to do our best to notify the public via our Facebook and Instagram page if our lap lane availability is affected for some reason, alternatively please call the Centre on 9756 8000 to enquire about lane availability.
